About Angela

After a 25-year journalism career, Angela pivoted to real estate and loves the opportunity to help clients buy and sell the property as a licensed REALTOR at RE/MAX Nova in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. In her first full year of real estate, she doubled the average sales for a new agent. Her transactions took her across the province, from Liverpool to New Waterford.

Raised in Nova Scotia, Angela moved to Toronto for university and worked at Canada’s largest newspapers (when newspapers were a thing!) including the Toronto Sun, National Post and, as an award-winning writer at the Toronto Star. Angela followed an automotive passion to be one of the first female auto journalists in Canada. Angela was fortunate to travel the world for nearly 10 years test driving new vehicles. In 2008 Angela joined Microsoft where she managed the most-visited car website in Canada, MSN Autos, a top-performing team of content producers, editors and a $25-million annual advertising budget.

In 2019 Angela returned to Nova Scotia, where she and her family built a custom home in HRM. With her husband, two children, and two (pandemic) pups who enjoy adventures across N.S. and spending time at their Cape Breton cottage.

Angela is always looking ahead at how to offer the best client experience. She loves working with everyone – from first-time buyers to downsizing sellers and families looking to settle into a longer-term luxury home. She also considers herself an Ontario relocation expert as she orchestrated her own family’s move ahead of the rush to Nova Scotia. She is a landlord as well as a short-term rental owner.
